Have you ever craved for an earphone that delivers clear, lifelike sound without compromising on comfort? Many audiophiles search far and wide for an audio solution that perfectly replicates the raw essence of instruments, especially when dealing with saturated mid-bass mixes. A challenge has always been the inability to fine-tune the sound according to the nuances of different music genres.
Introducing the U6t - 64 Audio's celebrated CIEM, now available in a universal fit. Drawing inspiration from the acclaimed U12t, the U6t encapsulates the same pioneering technology, all housed within a sleek ergonomic aluminum shell. The balanced, natural sound signature of U6t stands out, offering a gentle presentation that accentuates instruments like guitars and pianos, infusing vitality into vocal-centric mid-bass mixes. Furthermore, with the provision of varied apex modules and ear-tips, you gain the freedom to tailor the U6t's sound to your musical preference.
With dual drivers - including one tia high driver - the U6t produces a balanced, natural sound. The 10Hz-20kHz frequency range captures every detail, from deep bass to soaring highs.
The integrated 4-way passive crossover seamlessly blends the six drivers for coherent, lifelike audio - and patented Apex technology provides up to -20dB of isolation.
Further personalize your audio with the included Apex modules (m20, m15, mX). These innovative vents release air pressure for comfortable all-day listening. Choose the module that matches your preferences and enjoy fatigue-free audio.
U6t utilizes 64 Audio’s patented tia (Tubeless In-Ear Audio) technology. tia reduces unwanted resonance and distortion for transparent, accurate sound. Vocals sound clear and instruments have realistic imaging. Experience your music as the artist intended.
64 Audio’s Linear Impedance Design (LID) provides consistent frequency response across sources. You’ll experience the same exceptional U6t sound whether listening through a smartphone, amp, or DAP.
The U6t features a sleek, dark gray aluminum shell with black faceplate - inspired by the flagship U18t design. All components are hand assembled in the USA using premium materials sourced globally.
At double the price, the U12t comes in the same size shell and has double the drivers per side that the U6t does. The U12t is meant for a more analytical role and is tuned to a flat sound signature. The U12t provides more clarity overall - while the U6t is a more fun and colorful listening experience.
Coming in at $1099, the U4s has 2 fewer drivers per side as the U6t, but will still provide a great listening experience. The U4s has a smaller sound stage to the U6t and provides less clarity/detail than its more expensive counterparts - but still provides immense value for the price with slightly more colorful tuning than the U6t.
Tubeless In-Ear Audio (tia): The Tubeless In-Ear Audio, or tia, is not just another IEM design—it’s a revolution in sound delivery. Traditional in-ear monitors often face challenges with resonance and distortion, which can dilute the purity of sound. tia's ground-breaking approach addresses this by eliminating internal sound-altering tubes and chambers. By doing so, it drastically reduces the avenues for unwanted acoustic interferences. The two key components integrated into the U6t are the tia driver and the tia single-bore design. The driver delivers audio in its most unadulterated form, while the single-bore design ensures a direct and streamlined path from the driver to your ears. This combination facilitates a transparent and lifelike sound signature, allowing users to experience music in its truest essence.
Air Pressure Exchange (Apex): One of the most innovative solutions to an age-old problem faced by earphone users is the Air Pressure Exchange, abbreviated as Apex. In conventional earphones, a sealed ear canal often builds up air pressure, leading to listener fatigue and discomfort over prolonged usage. Apex, with its patented vent technology, effectively releases this trapped air pressure while maintaining the standard IEM levels of sound isolation. The outcome is twofold: listeners can enjoy their music for longer durations without discomfort, and they get a much broader and realistic soundstage. With the U6t, users can choose from three distinct apex module variations: mX, m15, and m20. Each module offers a nuanced listening experience tailored to individual preferences.
Linear Impedance Design (LID): In the complex world of in-ear monitors, ensuring consistency in sound across various devices is a formidable challenge. The Linear Impedance Design, known as LID, confronts this challenge head-on. At its core, LID is a patented circuit specifically designed to correct the inconsistencies arising from the non-linear electrical resistance found in multiple driver IEMs. Different devices—be it smartphones, DAC/amps, or DAPs—can have varying amplifier output impedances. Without a mechanism like LID, the sound signature could fluctuate based on the device's resistance. LID ensures that the desired sound signature of the U6t remains consistent, offering users a reliable and predictable listening experience regardless of the source device.
